| Scott is a self-confessed techno gadget guru who edits the Affinity Consulting Group email newsletter and posts regularly to the ACG Law Office Technology blog. Although no longer working as a full-time technology consultant, Scott stays current by employing many advanced techniques in his long-distance Michigan appellate practice operated from his home in Florida. Technologies such as remote access, mobile computing, smart phones, efiling, scanning, voice over Internet protocol, etc., are a daily part of his practice. Scott received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor.
Scott is a past-chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section and has authored over 100 published articles and book chapters on family law, appellate practice and law office technology. Scott has been an adjunct professor of family law at Wayne State University Law School and a clinical assistant professor of law at the University of Michigan Law School. He now serves as an adjunct professer of family law and law practice management at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Hobbies: Dirt bikes, photography, vinyl record collecting, and is the bass player in the "world-famous" Bare Assets Jazz Quartet (check 'em out at www.lawyersplayjazz.com). |
