Legal-Tech Solutions, Inc. (LTS) was founded by Cindy (Melfa) Emmerson. Cindy has over 22 years of law firm accounting and financial workflow experience. Prior to LTS, Cindy was a law firm real estate closer and firm administrator for 8 years, after which she started her consulting and training career in 1997. In 2002, she formed LTS to bring her expertise in these processes, combined with the automation of leading software providers to solo and small firms across Florida. LTS now has installation, training and service clients throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Cindy is a certified consultant for LexisNexis’ PCLaw® and Time Matters®, Gavel & Gown’s Amicus products, and World Software’s Worldox™ software and services.

Cindy is joined by her husband, Ed Emmerson who has 10 years of experience helping firms of all sizes get the right advice to make the technology decisions. Ed works on the sales and marketing for LTS and at the same time is building the document management practice area. Ed is also key in forming strategic alliances and partnerships to allow LTS to bring new solutions to their clients. Ed is ceritfied in World Software Corporation’s Worldox products. Ed also jots down his thoughts on web based productivity applications for the solo and small legal community at his blog called “Web Law Practice”

LTS recently became a member of the Affinity Consulting Group. Affinity Consulting Group is an alliance of 5 highly regarded law office technology and practice management consulting services companies.
