Know the Differences - Web Site Helps You Find Them
Learn the differences between products, versions, etc.
Upgrade or not? Purchase product A or product B? How to know? Knowing the differences between two things will help you decide. Here is help to learn the differences.
I was doing some research for a seminar I presented to the Region One meeting of the Association of Legal Administrators a short while ago. I came across a website that I have not heard about before, and proceeded to spend about an hour learning about the “difference between” two things. It started with me wanting to make a list of the most important new features introduced in Microsoft Office 2010 for those using Microsoft Office 2007, so I asked Google “what is the difference between Office 2010 and Office 2007”. It brought me here, and after reviewing the list (and going back to my Google search and looking at some other references) I determined that there are really just a few things that are really useful in the upgrade from Office 2007 to 2010. They are:
- Ribbon Customization (a HUGE deal, in my opinion)
- The addition of Ribbons in Outlook
- The Paste preview
While there are many other new features, most of them will not be used day in and day out in a law firm as the 3 above will. Now, if you are using Office 2003 still…what are you waiting for???
Anyway, back to www.differencebetween.com. I have to say, it is a very impressive site. Check these things out:
What is the difference between broccoli and cauliflower?
What is the difference between civil rights and civil liberties? (Check out the Legal Page too!)
What is the difference between a client and a customer?
What is the difference between Amazon Kindle Fire and Viewsonic ViewPad 7e? (looking for a new smart phone? LOTS of comparisons here!)
What is the difference between an optimist and a pessimist?
Happy reading!
